Odoo Community · Integrations · AI agents
Odoo without per‑user license fees, and with the parts Community is missing.
We implement Odoo Community, connect it to your webshop, couriers, bank and machines, write the modules your process needs, and add AI agents that turn WhatsApp messages and emails into draft orders.

What we do
Four kinds of work, usually in this order
Odoo Community implementation
Sales, inventory, purchasing, manufacturing and invoicing set up around your process, with your data migrated and your team trained.
Read more →02Odoo integrations
Shopify, couriers, banks, e-invoicing, label printers and machines talking to Odoo, so data is entered once.
Read more →03Custom Odoo module development
Modules for what Odoo doesn't do out of the box: kiosks, labels, portals, reports, dashboards. Your code, in your repo.
Read more →04AI agents for Odoo
Agents that turn WhatsApp messages, emails and voice notes into draft orders in Odoo, waiting for a person to approve.

Orders arrive in WhatsApp. They should land in Odoo.
Somebody in your office reads every message, finds the customer, looks up product codes and types the order. An agent does the reading and the lookup against your real Odoo data, then leaves a draft for that same person to check.
Nothing is confirmed without a human. The draft shows the original message next to the order, with anything uncertain highlighted.
How our Odoo agents work →- A message arrivesWhatsApp, Telegram, Viber, email or a voice note from a rep in the car.
- The agent reads it against OdooCustomer, products, “same as last time”, delivery date, price list.
- A draft order waits for youOne click to confirm, or fix a line and confirm. Corrections teach the matching.
Community vs. Enterprise
What Community gives you, and how we fill the gaps
Odoo Community is the open-source edition of Odoo. It has no per-user fee. A few apps exist only in the paid Enterprise edition, and that is where most of our module work happens.
Included in Community
- CRM, Sales and Purchase
- Inventory and Manufacturing
- Invoicing
- Website, eCommerce and Point of Sale
- Project, Employees and Time Off
Enterprise-only, and our answer
- Full accounting reportsOCA financial reports
- Barcode appKiosk and scanner modules
- StudioCustom modules in Git
- IoT BoxMCP Devices, our device connector
- Odoo.sh hostingYour own server, with backups
If Enterprise would cost you less over three years than the custom work, we will say so before you sign.
Modules we have built
From the shop floor to the sales rep's phone
We come from the factory side. Our sister company ATAR builds AI camera modules that spot weeds and switch individual sprayer nozzles in real time, running on embedded hardware in the field. So our Odoo work reaches places most ERP partners avoid, like tablets on machines, label printers and attendance cameras.
- Production kioskWorkers report finished quantities on a tablet next to the machine.
- Attendance with face recognitionClock-in at the entrance, no cards or PINs.
- Labels and printersShipping and product labels printed where the box is packed.
- Courier shipmentsLabel and tracking number created from the sales order in one tap.
- Shopify syncOrders, products and stock moving between Shopify and Odoo.
- B2B portalWholesale customers see their own prices and order without calling.
- Bank statement importStatements imported and matched to open invoices.
- Rule-based invoice notesLegal clauses and export notes added to invoices automatically.
- Dashboard builderPrivate or public dashboards built from live Odoo data.
- Route plannerCustomer visits scheduled for field sales reps.
- Flipbook catalogueProduct catalogue that pages like a book, generated from Odoo.
- AI agent over MCPAsk Odoo questions in plain language, with the asker's access rights.
Our hardware product
MCP Devices: printers, scanners and scales for Odoo and AI agents
Odoo Enterprise talks to hardware through the IoT Box. For Community we built our own connector. MCP Devices is a small agent that runs on a Windows PC, a Raspberry Pi or a Linux box in your warehouse. It finds the label printers, scanners and scales on site and makes them available to Odoo and to AI agents over MCP and a REST API.
- Print a shipping label from the sales order, on the printer next to the packing table
- Read the weight from the scale straight into the delivery
- Permissions per device and an audit log of every print and reading
How we work
Small first phase, fixed price, your data
- 130-minute call
You walk us through one order, from the first message to the paid invoice. Free.
- 2Written scope and price
The smallest phase that removes the most retyping, at a fixed price.
- 3Build, migrate, train
You test on a copy with your own data before anyone goes live.
- 4Support, if you want it
Ticket queue, agreed response times, monthly hours. Or your team takes over.
For Odoo partners
More projects than developers?
We build modules, integrations and upgrades under your brand. We work in your repository, follow your coding standards, sign an NDA and never contact your client unless you ask us to.
White-label Odoo development →Who we are
Danube Automation is an engineering company from Novi Sad, Serbia. We build ERP systems, integrations, AI agents and our own hardware: MCP Devices for connecting printers and scales, and the ATAR AI camera system for farm sprayers.
Every project has one named project lead who stays with you from the first call to go-live.

Notes from our Odoo projects
Odoo Community vs Enterprise: what you lose, and how to replace it
Which apps are Enterprise-only, which Community modules from the OCA replace them, and when paying for Enterprise is actually cheaper.

What does an Odoo implementation cost?
After a free 30-minute call we send a written scope and a fixed price for the first phase. We keep that phase small: one process, working on your data, in a few weeks. You decide on phase two once phase one is live.
Why Odoo Community instead of Enterprise?
Community has no per-user license fee and you can change its source code. Some apps are Enterprise-only: Studio, full accounting reports, Barcode, IoT. We replace them with Odoo Community Association modules or our own. When Enterprise would cost you less over three years, we tell you.
Where will our Odoo run?
On a cloud server in your name (Hetzner, AWS, DigitalOcean or similar) or on your own hardware. We set up backups, a staging copy for testing and monitoring. Odoo.sh, Odoo's own hosting, is available only with Enterprise.
Who owns the code you write?
You do. Custom modules are delivered under LGPL-3 in your own Git repository with documentation, so any Odoo developer can take over.
We're in the US. How does the time difference work?
We work 8:00–17:00 Central European Time, which overlaps with the US East Coast morning. Calls can be scheduled in your morning; most work happens while you sleep and is ready to test when you start.
How do contracts and invoices work?
We sign a standard service agreement, and an NDA if you need one, before work starts. Invoices are in EUR or USD, per phase or per month for support.
Is our data sent to AI providers?
Only when you approve it, and only the data a task needs. Agents can use Anthropic Claude, Google Gemini or a model running on your own server.
